Turn Your Mobile Processor Into A GPS Receiver |
|
CellGuide’s highly integrated GPS receivers leverage the host’s existing CPU resources to provide high-performance, ultra low cost GPS as an integrated feature on ACPU or DSP-based products.
For Mobile Device Designers
ACLYS and the CGX5900 are each available as small IC’s so that device manufacturers can leverage the standard ACPU or DSP in their designs to add full GPS functionality to their product.
For IC Manufacturers
The hardware core of the CellGuide GPS solution is also available as a very low gate-count IP solution for chipmakers who want to incorporate a GPS baseband directly into their ACPU, DSP, or RF front-end.
By leveraging the existing host platform, CellGuide’s GPS products enable manufacturers and chip makers to add full, high performance GPS functionality into their product for an ultra- low incremental cost.
CellGuide’s host software has already been adapted to a variety of application and co- processors for the mobile device market, including those provided by Freescale (MX series), Marvell (PXA XScale series), NEC (MP series), Samsung (SC3 and 64XX series), TI (OMAP), and others.
The CellGuide host software operates with a wide variety of O/S, such as Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Symbian, Linux and various RTOS.
