Ilan Levin, CEO
Mr. Levin, a member of the Company’s advisory board since 2000, assumed the role of CEO in 2003.
Mr. Levin has been involved in technology based venture capital and private equity investment activity for over ten years. Since 2000, he has been responsible for the management of a private-equity investment portfolio of technology related companies, acting as active board and executive committee member with special emphasis on matters of strategy, business development, operations, corporate affairs and financing, IP and the like. From 1997 to 2000 Mr. Levin was Vice President of Eurofund L.P. where he co-managed a $75 million venture capital fund specializing in investments in technology companies.
Previously, he was a practicing lawyer dealing in areas of commercial, corporate and securities law.
Mr. Levin holds a B.A.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Toronto and LL.B. from the Tel-Aviv University.
Nati Freiberg, COO
Mr. Freiberg, a member of CellGuide’s management team since 2000, has extensive experience in the marketing, sale and business development of communications related products in global markets.
Prior to joining CellGuide, Mr. Freiberg was Sales and Marketing Director at RADCOM (NASDAQ: RDCM), where he was responsible for sales and marketing efforts of networking infrastructure equipment, and Product Support and Marketing Manager at ECI Telecom (NASDAQ: ECIL), leading support and marketing of network monitoring solutions for communications systems.
Mr. Freiberg holds an Engineering degree from the Israeli Air force college and a MBA in Finance and Financial Engineering from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Amir Freizeit, VP R&D
Mr. Freizeit brings over 18 years of experience in IC development, SoC architecture and design, and management of R&D, including VLSI, firmware and board design.
Previously, Mr. Freizeit served as Director of Engineering of the Application Processor product line at Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN), and VP R&D of Emblaze Semiconductor, responsible for the development of multiMedia processors for mobile devices. Mr. Freizeit was among the initial establishment team of Zapex Technoliges, where he developed MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 based solutions. Prior to Zapex Mr. Freizeit held several IC design and management positions at National Semiconductor.
Mr. Freizeit holds a MSEE (Cum Laude) and BSEE (Cum Laude) from the Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology.
Eiran Duchovny, Chief System Architect
As Chief System Architect, Mr. Duchovny is responsible for the design and development of CellGuide’s core technologies and processing architectures. Prior to joining CellGuide in 2000, Mr. Duchovny spent over 20 years at Elta Technologies, Israel, and at Tadiran Communications, in various design roles relating to military electronic navigational and avionic products and technologies. He is a specialist in algorithm design, implementation and system radar design.
Mr. Duchovny holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.
Noam Graetz, Chief Software Architect
Mr. Graetz brings to CellGuide over 17 years of experience in the design and coding of embedded and mobile systems and products. Prior to joining CellGuide in 2004, Mr. Graetz served as Software Architect at Backweb Technologies (NASDAQ: BWEB) and Product Leader at ESPRO Information Technologies. Previously, Mr. Graetz spent 6 years in the Israel Navy as a programmer and project manager.
Mr. Graetz holds a B.Sc. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology, Israel.
Victor Trakhtman Ph.D., Senior GPS Engineer
Dr. Trakhtman has over 30 years of experience in satellite navigation technologies. Dr. Trakhtman was involved in the design of the GLONASS, a satellite navigation system developed by the former Soviet Union, and spent twenty years at Russian Institute of Space Device Engineering (RISDE). In addition, Dr. Trakhtman held senior design positions at Ashtech Inc. as Project Manager of dual GPS and GLONASS receivers. Following his immigration to Israel he spent 5 years as a GPS Specialist at Infineion Technologies before joining CellGuide in 2002.
Dr. Trakhtman is the author of a leading textbook on digital signal processing and several articles as well four patents related to satellite navigation.
Dr. Trakhtman holds a M.Sc. in Radio Engineering from the Moscow Power Institute and a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from Scientfic Board of Moscow Electronic Communication Institute.
